Aryan Agnihotri (Shahid Kapoor), a skilled robotics engineer from Delhi, relocates to Mumbai to work with his aunt, Urmila Shukla, who owns E-Robotics in Los Angeles. During his stay in the U.S., Aryan meets SIFRA (Super Intelligent Female Robot Automation), Urmila's secretary, and falls in love with her, unaware of her true nature. Upon discovering that SIFRA is a robot designed to test human discernment, Aryan returns to India and agrees to an arranged marriage. However, he realizes his true feelings for SIFRA and convinces his aunt to send her to India for further "testing" within a traditional family setting. As SIFRA integrates into Aryan's family, comical situations arise, leading to a series of events that challenge their unconventional relationship.
